Rental Car Terms and Conditions

1. Driver's License Requirement:

The renter must present a valid and current driver's license from their home country. If the license is in a non-English language, an international driver's license in English is required in addition.

2. Rental Car Insurance:

The renter must provide proof of full automobile insurance coverage, which can be:

• An existing personal auto insurance policy that extends full (comprehensive and collision damage) coverage to the rental car.

3. Security Deposit:

A refundable security deposit will be held for the duration of the rental to cover incidental charges incurred during the rental period and will be released within 10 days after the return of the rental car, less any incidental charges incurred.

Deposit amounts vary according to the renter's credit score (check with your credit card issuer or AnnualCreditReport.com or call 1 877 322 8228 for your credit score)

• Super prime credit score (781-850): $500 deposit
• Prime credit score (661-780): $1,000 deposit
• Near prime credit score (601-660): $2,000 deposit
• Sub-prime credit score (501-600): $4,000 deposit
• Deep sub-prime credit score (<500): $8,000 deposit

4. Cancellation Policy:

• No fee if canceled 72 hours prior to the start date.
• $500 fee for cancellations made within 72 hours of the start date.
• $1,000 fee for cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date.

5. Incidental Charges:

Additional charges may apply for:

• Cancellation fees, refueling, or recharging.
• Tolls, citations, and mileage overages.
• Insurance deductibles, rental extensions, and damages.
• Returning the car to a location not specified in the rental agreement.
• Activities such as racing or smoking in the car.

6. Other Fees:

• Rentals beginning or ending outside the Lomita, CA location (24321 Pennsylvania Ave).
• Rentals starting or ending outside our normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Sunday).
• Renters aged 21 to 24.

7. Warranty:

• Warranty: 90-day/1,000-mile limited warranty (see buyers guide).
• Maintenance: Complimentary first oil change.
• Loaner Vehicle during service: Excluded.
• License and Registration renewal: Excluded.

8. Accident Reporting:

In case of an accident, the renter must submit an accident report and/or a police report to the rental company.

9. Optional Vehicle Maintenance Plan:

We’re pleased to offer our customers a hassle-free and convenient vehicle maintenance plan designed to keep your car running smoothly without interrupting your busy schedule.

• Home Pickup & Delivery: We offer a pickup and drop-off service for your convenience.
• Comprehensive Maintenance: Includes oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections, and more.
• Return Delivery: Once your car is serviced, we’ll return it to your doorstep, freshly maintained and ready for the road.

By purchasing our silver or gold vehicle maintenance plan, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your car is always in top shape, without the need for you to rearrange your schedule.

10. Rent-to-Own Agreement:

Please be advised that our Rent-to-Own agreement is a monthly contract structured over a specified term, and payments must be made on time for the duration of the contract. The contract runs consecutively, meaning if a payment is missed or delayed, the agreement will be considered breached.

In the event of a missed payment, the contract may be terminated, and the vehicle will need to be returned. It’s important to ensure that all payments are made on schedule to avoid disruption of the contract and to continue enjoying the benefits of the rent-to-own arrangement.
